Lost and Found
Helping the Good Samaritan in others
Dec 22, 2009 --
Whether you received a digital camera as a holiday gift or already have one, an easy means of self-identification should your camera be misplaced is to take a photo, with your camera, of information identifying you. An example: take a closeup photo of the address of an envelope addressed to you, or type your contact info in a large font (e.g., 144 pt) on your computer then snap that. This way, should a stranger find your camera and look through the photos on it, he or she will see how to contact you to arrange returning it. You can use this technique as well to self-identify your cell phone, ipod touch, iPhone, etc.
