You have heard of blogs, you may have read some. "Blog" is an abbreviation for "weB log"—a blog is thus an online log or journal that is easily modified without the requirement of knowing much at all about the internet or digital tools. The blog author (you) need only have an interest in creating a conversation about something of meaning to him or her (travel, children, work, a specialty, an initiative...there is no limit to the ideas that bloggers create conversations about). The Garden House on Orcas, one of the Centripetus family activities along with JoeBay U, has a blog created with a digital tool offered by Google: "Blogger", which is the tool you will learn to use to create your blog.
