Warm Heads, Hands and Hearts is a social entrepreneurship microbusiness created to help support a Nepalese family's goal to provide education for girls. The non-profit activity determined that a web presence would expand its reach beyond Orcas Island as well as serve as an information tool. Originally written in html, the site was re-purposed for a year on to macwebsitebuilder. For financial reasons, given the recession, the site was returned to its (free) hosting position, and thus is created by html. The advantage of html (assuming the designer has a broadband isp account) is that hosting is generally free. The disadvantage for the average user is that few people have ever learned or would want to learn the basics of the programming / formatting language abbreviated by the acronym "html" (which stands for "hyper text markup language").
